Hall of mirrors

This blog is a mixture of our travel adventures and our new family adventures.
The title comes from a dumb blonde high school girl on a tour with us in Versailles who asked this question in every single room of the Palace.
The picture was taken while on our Honeymoon in China, on the Xian river.

A 'weekend' at Auntie Cindy's

My mom has been absolutely swamped with homework this week (but she's almost finished with school - completely!) so she couldn't watch Ares on Wed. Auntie Cindy, Uncle Mike and Aunt (cousin) Kassi took him for both Tuesday and Wednesday where he had TONS of fun. Unfortunately, he got very fussy in the evenings, but I think it's cuz he's cutting a few new teeth. They said he was great though. Here's some pics that they took. (They visited Great Grandpa Walters and Great Grandma Marion).

New words: Cloud, cheese, please, belly, and now I think that I will stop writing new words as he seriously has 3 new words a day. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. He's getting at least two incisors in, so he's pretty miserable. These two teeth are the worst that he's gotten so far. He still smiles, but he whines a lot more than normal. Because of this, we'e more apt to give him pickles, applesauce and yogurt for dinner if that's what he asks for. He's a spoiled kid, at least the things he likes tend to be good for him. We are really missing our family in Cinci/Corydon, hopefully we can visit soon! Thanks so much for the care package! We LOVE the monkey stuff. Ares now 'speaks' monkey. "E- E- E- E- E"
