A Sad and Unexpected Trip

We knew she was in a rehab facility to work on her coordination, but we never expected the phone call to tell us that Grandma Jean had passed.   It was an extremely sad week, with both boys being a little under the weather.   We had a nice ceremony followed by a celebration of life.  Lots of visiting with family, Jim, Terri abs family.  Grandma is one of the few who love ice cream more than me.   Specifically, strawberry.    The skyline chili was great too.    We'll miss grandma greatly. 

This was written months ago, but the post kept failing to publish.   :(   Miss you grandma, hope to see you sometime this summer or spring Jim.

Ohh Child

Oh, Atlas, my love.   You have the greatest laugh ever, and absolutely love to do it.   You adore your big brother and try to get him to make you laugh all day long.   But please, dear child, start doing 2 things for me: 1) get your body healthy.  I'm quite tired of these dr appts.  (Severe diaper rash this time) and 2) please start to eat more than the three things you're not allowed to eat due to the rash.  You can't live on fruit and ketchup.

My boys love Christmas

Ares loves all things Christmas.  He helps me decorate- he might do more than me!  Atlas is obsessed with Santa. It's too cute!

He also got a website video 6 minutes long seeing if he was on the naughty or nice list.  He got nice!

Christmas preparation

I love Christmas decorations.  (I have plenty, please don't buy me any).  Especially lights on my house.   This year has been rough, with the weather being cold and blustery starting in October, so nothing got done.  
Adam surprised me this past weekend by suggesting we leave Cincinnati a couple hours early so we could do lights!  Yay!  I want to add some to the boys' windows, and I need a timer, so I don't have to keep plugging and unplugging, but these make me so happy!
