Summer is Over

It's not that I've not had the time, (well, I haven't), but, it's just that I've completely forgotten to write on here.  This summer has been one of the  most hectic of all.  Atlas is totally on the move, crawling everywhere, taking a few steps here and there, and NEEDING to be entertained 100% of his awake time.   Ares is getting ready for Kindergarten, and couldn't be more excited.   

Adam and I have been keeping our heads above water - barely.  Tag teaming Atlas, playing with Ares, getting yard work done ( I lie, we haven't weeded the garden in roughly 10 months), cleaning out the garage, and working.   I've failed on all levels to post Atlas' first birthday pictures, info about our trip to the beach (a small lake nearby, nothing exotic), visits with friends, week(s) at Grandma's or anything else we've done.

Kids say the darndest things

Direct quote from Ares: "Grandma! Do you want to see what's behind my back?!  It's an adult magazine!" As he whips out a National Geographic.  Hahaha!
