Ares Turns SIX!!!

Every year I ask Ares the same set of questions to see how his answers change. This is last year.  Here's two years ago.   I realize these are very juvenile questions, and will have to change them as he gets older, but for right now, I'm happy with this, and his answers.  I'll probably say this in a whole bunch of posts, but MAN, this kid is so much fun.   It's crazy how his answers have changed. He still has the same set of friends, for the most part, but his answers are more decisive now.  He doesn't look to me if he has the right answers or not anymore.  His favorite game went from board game to video game, he's a goof, and we love him so much.  Here's to hoping that 6 is a less... trying time than 5 was.   The age of 5 was rough.

6. What is your favorite thing to wear? Sweatpants (no joke, the kid will wear them every day if I don't pay attention).

10. Who is your best friend?  Davis & Colt & Eve
11. What is your favorite food? Chocolate
12. What is your favorite snack? fruit snacks
13. What is your favorite drink?  Kook-Aid (He has still never had pop, although, I'm surprised he didn't say 'milkshakes')
14. What is your favorite game? Mario Kart
15. What do you like to do outside?  Play on my swing set 
16. What do you sleep with at night? Mousie!!!!!
17. What do you want to be when you grow up? A Scientist!!

Crazy hair day

I let daddy give him a mohawk for one day.  He was so giddy.  Even more so when I put product and color in it.   :)  is already cut off.  24 hours later,  but i got cool points for letting him wear it to school for their crazy hair day. 

Mid Recovery

Today the tape came off!  Thank goodness, it was getting so itchy!  It doesn't look as bad as I was expecting.   I still get stares at the stores though. 

The other pictures are from a week after. Not bad for 7 and 11 days after surgery. :)
