Hall of mirrors

This blog is a mixture of our travel adventures and our new family adventures.
The title comes from a dumb blonde high school girl on a tour with us in Versailles who asked this question in every single room of the Palace.
The picture was taken while on our Honeymoon in China, on the Xian river.

Photo Dump! Jan 2018

Atlas started swim lessons

They asked me to take this photo.  Lately, they're either best friends, or they hate each other.

Downtown Logan for their winter festival.  Kind of a bore, but the kids enjoyed it for a little bit.

There were some incredible ice sculptures to look at.

The one hike we did.  Ash Cave - beautiful

This is what you get when you get sub zero temperature, followed by ice melt, followed by freezing temps, followed by another ice melt.   That pile on the bottom is about 40 feet tall, if not taller.  You can see people standing near the rock to the left of the tip.

isn't he beautiful?  Can't believe how mature he's getting.

... but still all boy!

Grandma V took Ares to see Love Never Dies.    He was a little scared, but essentially loved it.  He watched the Phantom of the Opera on DVD the next night.

Then everyone else wanted added in.

Photo Dump Christmas 2017

Got this from a Christmas special.  The tree is behind that.  Kids can't see the tree before the parents are awake and then they get to smash through it.  They loved it, want to do it every year.   OK!   It was fuN!

Atlas looks like Elf on the Shelf here!

Ares is so supportive of his brother.   Mostly.

THese two are the same person.

Atlas loves his new ice cream truck.   Plays with it daily.  (Ares got a Nintendo DS from grammy)

Our big gift to the boys - a laser tag system.  Can't wait until it's warmer out!

One of my gifts!!  (I also got beautiful Asian style dishes)

Adam's a goof.  There's gift cards in these.

Pandemic.   The other day, Ares asked about China.  We named big cities, and then he threw out Hong Kong.  How did you know?  His answer?  Pandemic.   Teaching geography without even realizing.

OMG these kids are hilarious.

Volunteered with my department at the women's place in Euclid.  Stacey and I painted this whole room.  Blue.  and some Gold above the chair rail (which was 10' up)
