Hall of mirrors

This blog is a mixture of our travel adventures and our new family adventures.
The title comes from a dumb blonde high school girl on a tour with us in Versailles who asked this question in every single room of the Palace.
The picture was taken while on our Honeymoon in China, on the Xian river.

10 Years!

I haven't killed him!  In 10 years!  Lol.  I had to force a "Happy Anniversary" out of him this morning after saying it three times and finally singing it like I was an Animaniac, lol.  Maybe he has big plans?   We had a nice dinner last night because he works late other nights this week. I wanted to get a picture of the two of us, (selfie style like we did before it was "cool") but he didn't get around to taking it.   We dressed up very nicely and enjoyed the food.   We talked about the Spartan race, because, really, it's all Adam has done all summer. (In Vermont, last weekend he ran the hardest Beast Spartan ever created).   He has a race this weekend,  and another next weekend.  Poor Ares hasn't had daddy at a soccer game yet.    Fortunately, he's been playing awesome and really enjoying it.  We even let him play in the living room. LOL.  I guess he plays soccer at recess too.  Hahaha.  Baby Atlas had been pretty fun too, when he's not teething or hungry (then get out of his way) and loves LOVES to wrestle with Ares (or, daddy, when he's around). Fortunately, haven't gotten the report that he messes with his classmates, and I've asked.

This weekend is full of babysitting while Adam and the Gerhardts run, and then I have a bachelorette party to throw for one of Ares' classmates mom (her first wedding). Fun stuff!

Castle Noel

While Adam was home sick, I needed to get the boys away from him and it if the house, so we drove to Castle Noel got some fun!  Ares got to go down the slide three times!

Exhaustion

I never understood how a mother could just up and leave her husband and kids.   After this weekend, I get it.  LOL.  I can't tell you how exited I am that today is Monday and I get to go to work.  :)  for real, it's the best thing that could have happened to us.
