Hall of mirrors

This blog is a mixture of our travel adventures and our new family adventures.
The title comes from a dumb blonde high school girl on a tour with us in Versailles who asked this question in every single room of the Palace.
The picture was taken while on our Honeymoon in China, on the Xian river.

Mother's Day

Well, I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. I had a fantastic weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful and my kids behaved very well. Adam and the boys surprise me with a beautiful necklace. It is a mother's necklace with the boys birth stones in them in their names as well. For once Adam was able to surprise me. I do the bills, so I always and the person from check the credit card statement. I haven't checked in a while, because I have been so busy with this new consultant business. This purchase completely slipped under my radar. Atlas is on another new formula, and he is doing great! I even gave him some ice cream yesterday, and he did pretty well over night we will see how the teachers say he was today at school. Adam and I have decided that we are going to redo a lot of our landscaping in our yard. We both want to get rid of some flower beds and put in new grass.
We have had some rain the past few week days, so our baseball games has been cancelled. We had soccer this weekend as well as baseball pictures, though. Both were very nice days.

I also gave myself a new manicure and pedicure. Really really starting to love these emails. Good thing! Since I'm selling them now! My grandma is going to buy affair before she goes on vacation. She probably will not put them on her fingers, but will definitely use them to put on her toes.

My Son Says All the Right Things

I was wearing an older shirt (pre-preggo) that I thought might have been a little tight.
Me too Adam: does this shirt look too tight? Am I too heavy for this?
Ares-immediately after I asked: Mommy, you're the skinniest you've been in a long time!

It's baseball season!

This kid has a lot to learn, but hopefully he has fun doing it.  The phrase we heard most often by the coach was "baseball ready". The second most used phrase? "Ares focus".  LOL.   He loved his new cleats so much that he watched behind him as he ran and made paths by dragging his feet everywhere he went.
He loves to go after the ball.  Ball's at first?  No worries, this outfielder will be happy to go after it, haha.
The game was cold. So cold that Adam ended up taking Atlas home to go to bed and warm up.  I took Ares to get hot chocolate afterwards. It was probably 42* out by the end of the game.  When will spring be here?!?

He Finally Colors!

Not that he likes to.  At least he is starting to fill in most of the picture now.

Just Like Daddy

These two are the same person.  They get excited about the same things, enjoy watching the same things, doing the same things.... *sigh* another late bedtime because he had to help.

Jamberry

I've decided to become a consultant for jamberry nail wraps.  It's the coolest thing.  Essentially shrink wrap for nails, that, get this, stay on for two weeks!

There's a ton of different ways to put them on, but it's so easy! (Youtube is awesome). Each set of wraps will do two manicures and two pedicures if done right, but never less than two manicures and a pedicure .  More if you're really good.

If you want to have a party,  just order or see what they're about,  I'll send some sample wraps to anyone who wants them, once they're delivered to me.
