A long weekend?

"Now I know why I'm getting paid the big bucks..." I say as I put in 10 hours during this long Holiday weekend. I guess it's a good thing I did, as I realize the consultant we paid to help price the Homeowners product made two (pretty major) mistakes. So now the IT design is nearly completed, the rules to be filed are almost done, the underwriting guidelines are finished, the pricing is (I hope) completed and now all I have to do is finish all of the above and then start it all over again with Auto *sigh*. Sleep, oh how I've missed you!

we figured out that the pacifier prevents the crayons from going into his mouth.

We had grandma and papa keep his first ever crayon drawing.

Getting old fast

I'm getting old fast. This job is SO stressful, and I'm SO busy that the days fly by so fast, which is making the weeks go by fast and months etc. I am going to get old much faster. I really like how the days here don't drag on like they did at PRG, however, I am so busy, that I watch "deadlines" (which I guess is used loosly around here), fly right by. I hate that. I really hate that.
On the plus side, my phone number was given out to agents now, so they can call me when they need product information, or have questions, or want sponsorship or... yay.

OK, I'm a liar... AGAIN!!

This is the start of it, I know. Each time I say something about my kid, he makes a liar out of me. At the EXACT SAME TIME I was uploading the video of him standing, he started walking.... no joke! Totally across the room! I made Adam run and grab another SD card so I can tape it again, because the one that goes in my camera was still in my computer uploading the other video. SO CRAZY!
So here's the second video of the evening. I guess he's REALLY not ready for bed. All he is doing is walking walking walking he's so excited. (As are we, can you tell!?!)

Still Not Walking...

... but we are standing pretty well. This was right before bedtime, so he was being goofy, but we had a good time with him.

I don't really have any pictures, and it sure did rain a whole lot. But this is a blog post to commend my dear husband on finishing his first marathon ever attempted! He averaged LESS than 10 minute miles, incredible! I'm so proud of him, he did a great job, and even did great during the 4 hour drive home that evening and went to work the next day. Go babydoll! =)
