Hall of mirrors

This blog is a mixture of our travel adventures and our new family adventures.
The title comes from a dumb blonde high school girl on a tour with us in Versailles who asked this question in every single room of the Palace.
The picture was taken while on our Honeymoon in China, on the Xian river.

Happy Valentines Day!

That present is still one of his favorites, and he started playing with it FIVE months ago! What a great gift!
The Valentines weekend was excellent! Ares' school had a Valentines Day party, they all made valentines for the parents and had a valentine exchange. He got a juice box, an odd bag of liquid baby food, cookies, candy, and lots of cool valentines. His "mailbox" was painted very nicely by his fist. Yes, his fist. It seems Ares does not like to get his hands dirty. Every single painting/piece of artwork we get from him, is forcefully done by the teachers dipping his very closed fist into paint, and trying to get it to connect with paper. Haha, he is very much like his Uncle Justice, who was the same way as a child.

A wonderful visit from Grandma & Grandpa! All 4 grandparents and our small family of 3 drove to Lakewood to go to MELT, the best grilled cheese restaurant in the world. We got there 8 minutes after it opened (thanks to Adam "knowing" how to get there) and we had an hour and a half wait. Crazy! It was some good times with my parents and Adam's parents together. (And DUMB me, took no pictures)

That evening, I FINALLY got sushi! I have been craving it since before we got pregnant, and then I couldn't have it, and then I still couldn't, and even when Ares was finally on formula, we just never went. I LOVE SUSHI! Yay for Adam's parents baby sitting. They wore him out so much, he went to bed at 6:15 for the next three nights!
