Hall of mirrors

This blog is a mixture of our travel adventures and our new family adventures.
The title comes from a dumb blonde high school girl on a tour with us in Versailles who asked this question in every single room of the Palace.
The picture was taken while on our Honeymoon in China, on the Xian river.

Cross Season

Both boys ran a lot this year - at least in races.  Practices didn't go so great, as they had a conflict with soccer and didn't run on their own each time.  This is backwards in timing, so October, XC season, HS 5k and July 4 5K

He got 2nd in the Streetsboro Halloween fun run 14 & U, behind Hayden who has really, dramatically improved since going to middle school.   They were actually both beaten by a 14 year old, but that kid took the entire race, so it didn't count against their age group.

Atlas did the 1 mile... without me, and he KILLED it.  He still says he's never running again, but whatever, he ran a full mile without an adult there.

Cross season went well.  Atlas still likes to strike a pose when he runs, to make sure the cameras get his good side, and Ares is a beast, as usual.  He didn't run or train well this year, so he's still getting beat a lot, but he's still got an amazing time.

He got 1st in the 12&U High School invitational (beating every single middle schooler and even a couple HS kids).

He did run the 10 & under July 4th 5k and get 1st place.  Oh yeah, he also beat Adam.  Legitimately.  Don't worry, he's made himself nearly sick trying to do that again, and Adam won't let him.
