Photo Dump February, 2018

It was a great month (although, it's not quite over).  It started with the boys going to the Monsters game.  Atlas wanted his photo up on the little screen in the corner of the Q.   I just put "Gooooaal!" because it's what people yell in soccer - and we were hoping for a goal.   They didn't put it up for a while, but to our surprise, after the Monsters got a goal, they didn't just put it up on the tiny TVs in the corner, they put it on the big jumbotron!!  How cool!!!

The photos this month just show how happy the boys are together.  They typically get along very well, and still LOVE to wrestle, play soccer in the living room, and play football. 

Ares had a soccer tournament this year.  While the first 3 games went very well, he played awesome, and is a star at defense, he flipped out come the 4th game, and walked off the field to sulk the rest of the game.  I'm pretty sure I saw red.  Thankfully my mom came up to watch that last game (so she didn't' even get to see him play) but was able to take me home, so I didn't yell and scream any more than I had already after the game.

Atlas started swim lessons

They asked me to take this photo.  Lately, they're either best friends, or they hate each other.

Downtown Logan for their winter festival.  Kind of a bore, but the kids enjoyed it for a little bit.

There were some incredible ice sculptures to look at.

This is what you get when you get sub zero temperature, followed by ice melt, followed by freezing temps, followed by another ice melt.   That pile on the bottom is about 40 feet tall, if not taller.  You can see people standing near the rock to the left of the tip.

Grandma V took Ares to see Love Never Dies.    He was a little scared, but essentially loved it.  He watched the Phantom of the Opera on DVD the next night.

Photo Dump Christmas 2017

Got this from a Christmas special.  The tree is behind that.  Kids can't see the tree before the parents are awake and then they get to smash through it.  They loved it, want to do it every year.   OK!   It was fuN!

Our big gift to the boys - a laser tag system.  Can't wait until it's warmer out!

Pandemic.   The other day, Ares asked about China.  We named big cities, and then he threw out Hong Kong.  How did you know?  His answer?  Pandemic.   Teaching geography without even realizing.
